BBC Music Magazine

If you're like me, you don't know much about classical music. BBC makes it easy for lay and expert fans to understand and appreciate classical music. The magazine is interesting and well-rounded. I like its interviews. Note also, the magazine is titled BBC Music Magazine & CD. That means you get free CDs with it. It's so important for me to able to hear what I'm reading about, and it helps me appreciate the music even more. Magazines that offer CDs, like CMJ New Music Monthly, generally do a good job of covering music critically. BBC is no exception, and it spans a wide range of areas within classical music. It highlights well-known and lesser-known talent in every issue.
