The Bottom Line:
Get it now! Before the mailing rush, it'll be perfect for the holidays.
Never ever get conned into helping anyone do wedding invitations, unless it happens to be your own. I unfortunately learned this the hard way. The only good news about this sad, sad experience was the best product for label making I have dealt with. We needed to address hundreds of labels for the invitations as well as the many other "parties" that needed to be formally sent out. This product performed like a pro. Handling every challenge and helping me overcome an innate ineptness when it comes to formalities, these mailing labels went above and beyond.
So I am sure that everyone has had to mail a letter once in a while. I am also as positive more than one person has the chicken scratch handwriting I was blessed with, let's just say it is better to just have it printed for me. With that in mind I recommend every home office to be complete with a package of Avery Inkjet Mailing Labels. There a couple things to keep in mind when shopping around and Avery has def. passed the test. They should be easy to use hands down, formattable with any computer system, cheap, professional looking, and able to handle most printers. I could not find one aspect of this list that Avery didn't pass.
I worked with it on my PC laptop on Word and other word editing programs, don't worry I am sure it'll work on your favorite. It also seemed to handle ok with a mac system on my lovely sister's Apple.
The price seems to be one of my bottom lines, I am "frugal" to say the least so what may seem like a drawback to price is actually a huge benefit. You can get these puppies for around 6$ which at the begining I thought was outrageous. Then I looked at the shelf next to it, Did you know some people are willing to pay 20$ for a glorified sticker, albeit a really cool timesaving one? These are one of the cheapest labels around, go on try to find a cheaper set that has this kind of quality.
These go on clear. Cause have you ever seen how tacky white labels look on an eggshell or cream-colored letter? let's not even mention the greys (not so bad) to the tan sepia tones (horrible.) I may have been fecetious with that last comment but we have to acknowledge that there is someone out there who's livelyhood depends on it. I for one would rather it look top notch than, semi-par so-so that other brands seem to give. Go on make it look nice, you'll impress more people than you thought you would.
I once had labels that would jam my precious printer. It was a head ache and hardly worth the time "saved" by typing them up. It was another hour wasted on something that is not my favorite thing to to anyway. Luckily for us all I did not need to go "Rambo" on the poor defenseless printer. (I hear the fax machine had its' back just in case.) This was easy and simple just stick it in the printer, you dont need to worry.
Beware, this product has only one label per page and was used for larger projects, on the actual envelopes they have one that has 20 per page.
It was a miracle and lifesaver, so before you are in a bind, like mailing everybody in Detroit, go get yourself a pack.
