Avery is the clear leader in mailing labels in my book. It is a trusted company that has been making mailing labels for years and I trust them to be top quality in performance. We have been using the Avery brand in my office for years and how I got acquainted with Avery #4557 Clear Mailing Labels.
Avery #4557 Clear Mailing Labels
The Avery #4557 Clear Mailing Labels come in a package containing 2000 labels that are 1/2" x 1 3/4". Each sheet of labels contains a total of 80 labels in four columns per sheet.
These labels are designed to work in laser printers or you can put them in a copier and run off if desired.
A huge plus in buying the Avery brand of labels is the free software and templates that can be found at www.avery.com. No matter what project you are working on, these templates come in handy and make your work easier and faster.
The Avery #4557 Clear Mailing Labels retail for around $21-25.00 a box and can be found at most office supply stores.
My Thoughts on the Avery #5667 Clear Mailing Labels
My first thought is, "why are these called mailing labels when they are so small?" We do not use these labels for mailing labels because of the size. You would have to use a very tiny print in order to use these labels as mailing labels. They are great for labels for file folders, labeling folders containing handouts for meetings, for CD's or any other object you may find yourself needing to label. Keep in mind that the labels are clear and mostly invisible.
The templates at www.avery.com are helpful if you are needing an entire sheet of labels with the same thing on them. We use these labels for conference/meeting folders. The clear background makes these labels the perfect choice for whatever color folders we decide to use.
These labels stick well, look nice and neat and also do not jam in laserprinters. I have also not experienced any ink smudges on the labels after they run through my laserprinter. The ink dries quickly and the labels are ready to place as soon as they print.
Recommendation
The Avery #4557 Clear Mailing Labels are great for tagging anything that needs a label. These labels are top quality and look nice and neat.
