The Bottom Line:
Very easy to use, simple and fast. Highly recommend to stay home mommies!
I'm a stay-home-mom and Avent Isis Breast Pump is the only breast pump I ever used. It worked great for me. First, it's very reasonable (~$45). Second, it works just wonderful!
Once you read the manual how to put it together, then you know how to fix it really fast. It's very easy! I read a lot about breast pumps and seems like this one is very plane and simple (it's actually a beauty of it), and it does its job!
I don't use it very often, but use it some when I have too much breast milk or to store for the future (or when baby needs to stay with Granny).
Once, my husband and I went to an amusement park for our anniversary and baby stayed with his Granny; she used the breast milk pumped prior especially for this occasion, whereas I used this breast pump in the public restrooms every 4 hours to keep the milk production! It fits in my little hand bag - awesome!
The process of pumping is not painful at all and very comfortable. You can pump only 1 breast at 1 time. It takes about 10-15 minutes to pump both sides. You should think about your baby to make the process faster and easier. It doesn't need any batteries or plugs in - totally manual breast pump which is great for using at home.
The set of the breast pump has everything you need, even extra small parts you may lose by accident. I had to buy sterilized bags for storing pumped breast milk in the refrigerator / freezer, plus special bags to sterilize the breast pump itself. You can sterilize it in the boiling water instead.
If you are a stay-home-mom you will definitely like this breast pump! ;-)
