My skin has been especially dry this winter and I blame the Santa Ana winds for their dryness. My skin is so dry that there were nights when I could not fall asleep because of the itchiness. I decided to purchase Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (Fragrance Free) to combat the dry skin.
The Product
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (Fragrance Free) is available in a variety of sizes, but I purchased the 18 ounce bottle that has a pump dispenser. I purchased the two-pack from Costco for $10, which is fantastic deal since a single 18 ounce bottle can run about $12.

My Experience
I love my Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion with Natural Colloidal Oatmeal (Fragrance Free)!
The lotion is absolutely fantastic. My only regret is that I did not purchase it earlier. The lotion is plain, cream colored, and has a medium consistency. It pumps easily out of the bottle. I do like the pump dispenser because it makes it convenient to dispense the lotion. The lotion is quickly absorbed into skin and does not leave a greasy or filmy after-feel. The lotion does a great job leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It is touted as moisturizing for 24 hours, but I find that my skin needs another shot of lotion prior to the 24 hour period. After showering at night, I moisturize, making sure to hit areas that are particularly hard hit by dry skin (such as my shins). I have noticed that by morning, my shins are still looking fairly moisturized but when I come home from work they look like they could use some moisture. However, they still look better than their non-moisturized state, so I guess there is a bit of truth to the 24 hour cliam.
I purchased the fragrance free version of the lotion because my husband has very sensitive skin and fragrance infused products tend to irritate his skin. He has tried the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (Fragrance Free) and it has worked well with his sensitive skin. He likes that it isn't greasy like the Aquaphor he has been using for years, and he likes that it absorbs quickly and leaves his skin hydrated.
I have gravitated away from scented, specialty store lotions and am very pleased with the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (Fragrance Free) as it leaves my skin soft and hydrated.
