I'm really burned up over this toaster!!
Pros
Uses less counter space than a separate toaster and toaster oven, plus only one cord.
Cons
It takes an unreasonably long time for the toaster side to toast bread.

I purchased the Avanti toaster/toaster oven for two reasons 1. because it combined both a toaster oven and a toaster in one appliance (taking up less counter space and only one cord.), and 2. because I like how nicely and quickly a standard toaster toasted bread (I assumed the toaster side would work the way a standard toaster does).. Well the toaster side of the Avanti takes much longer than my standard toaster ever did, even when I preheat it ! I called customer service and they said, "yes our toaster is very slow." Gee thanks! I am going to try to return it. If they won't take it back it is going in the garbage. Unless you have all morning to make toast for your family look for another product that will meet you needs. That is what I am going to do.
