The Bottom Line:
If you can afford it, get it! So far, it's living up to its claims better than anything else I've tried!
After trying The Body Shop's Vitamin E Eye Cream as well as their Daily Eye Treatment With Kinetin, and then just a couple of basic skin moisturizers because those 2 products didn't work, I found myself a guinea pig to this product.
During a shopping trip to Target one day, I saw it on a shelf in the makeup section. Although it ran about $21.99 for a 1 FL OZ bottle, I had used other Avalon Organics products before and enjoyed them. I also heard that vitamin C can be very good for the delicate area around the eyes.
After using this now for about 2 weeks, I'm sold on it. It's a white cream although not a super thick one like the Kinetin cream I tried which wouldn't absorb well around my eyes and instead dried as a film around them and would flake off with the slightest touch. It absorbs well and softens and helps tone the skin around the eye area to diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Best of all, it doesn't irritate, itch, or burn. All you do is "apply small dots of cream to outer eye area and gently pat."
Some things on the bottle:
"Skin Nourishing Antioxidant Intensive Vitamin C Sun-Aging Defense Revitalizing Eye Cream. Protects, repairs and firms diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles."
"Safe, effective, pro-organic skin care without artificial colors, synthetic fragrances or parabens. EU Cosmetics Directive compliant."
While there are no ingredients listed on the bottle, you can find out more by going to www.avalonorganics.com.
Comes in a sort of frosted, transparent glass bottle with a plastic push-top squirt dispenser.
