Automobile Magazine-- In a Class All It's Own

Great variety for anyone who loves cars and wants to keep up with what's new!
When I first started getting Automobile Magazine in the mail, I figured it would be just like Car and Driver and Motor Trend. Wrong! Automobile Magazine has a nice variety of articles on upper end automobiles, exotic autos and what I call "everyday vehicles".

Automobile Magazine is published monthly and can be delivered to your mailbox for only $19.94 a year. That's pretty cheap for a magazine that delivers interesting articles and keeps you up-to-date on the latest automobiles on the market.
Feature articles are varied and the subject ranges from test driving a new model "xyz" to a review of a new electric car model. You will also find articles on redesigned vehicles, street racers, and exotic cars, such as Lamborghinis, Ferraris, McLarens, etc. Most of these cars are models you and I will never own, but hey, we do still dream of them. What I like about Automobile Magazine is that they do not leave out the "everyday person" like you and me. They also include articles on vehicles that the everyday person would live like a Ford F150 or Dodge Charger.
Now that I have given you an idea of what kind of feature articles you can expect in Automobile Magazine, let's see what else they have to offer!
Automobile Magazine also offers reviews on new model cars, redesigned cars, news on recalls, road tests, and more. Each issue also has letters from the readers, auctions and of course the dreaded advertisements.
I just received the November 2009 issue in the mail and it is an Exotic Car Special Issue. The feature article is about the McLaren MP4-12C and how it stands up to the F1.
Each issue is packed with lots of wonderful photographs of the featured automobiles. The photos are crisp and clear and give you a great "feel" for relating to the corresponding article.
My Thoughts
This is a well thought out magazine that has something for everyone. It doesn't cater to one type of car or one class of people. If you love cars, Automobile Magazine will give you a variety of articles/news/reviews each month on cars you will be interested in.
While I don't read every article each month, I do take a good look at the magazine to see what is the latest in automobile news. I love to read about the exotic cars just because of their beauty. I find them to be very exciting.
If I had to nail a downside to this magazine it would have to be advertising. This magazine contains a lot of ads on car things: accessories, parts, cars, etc.
My favorite part of Automobile Magazine is the Ignition Section where all the road tests are featured on different automobiles each month. It's fun to see how the autos stack up!
Recommendation
If you are a car nut, you will like Automobile Magazine. To me it is not as predicable as Motor Trend and Car and Driver. Take a look, I think you will like it!
