Pros A little humorous.
Cons No Mike Myers, No real Austin "edge". That's all I got to say about that.
Recommended it? No

When I went to E3 and I saw this game I was all hyped up about it. The new Austin movie hadn't come out yet, but there was still a lot of hype revolving around it. So when I finally picked a copy of the game, I was anxious to check it out.

My first bit of dismay came at the instant I... Read full review »

Pros Naughty pop culture trivia. Oh behave!
Cons Not as slick as You Don't Know Jack!, voices aren't authentic Mike Myers
Recommended it? Yes

Based on 2 of the best entertainment pieces in years, Austin Powers and You Don't Know Jack, the pc game Austin Powers Operation Trivia succeeds in putting a risque twist to trivia.

Unfortunately, the clear problem immediately emerges when you realize that Mike Myers does not provide the... Read full review »

Pros Lots of challenging and fun trivia and the animated bits in between are cute.
Cons You can only stand to see the animated bits for so long and then you want to shoot the...

I was a little surprised at first to learn that "Operation Trivia" wasn't an "All-Austin Powers" trivia game. But after I played it, I decided that it was better this way.

The opening credits are wonderful, but the ending credits (for those who take the time to listen) are hilarious. There... Read full review »

Pros Fun, creative, makes me think
Cons Gets redundant after a while
Recommended it? Yes

I received this as a gift, and played it non-stop for several hours after installing it. Why? It's rather addicting, baby! It follows the same format as the very popular "You Don't Know Jack," games, with a wise-cracking announcer, and several different question topics. Does it get redundant? Yes,... Read full review »

Pros humorous, easy to use, very informative
Cons jokes wear thin after a week or so...

I have been an avid fan of trivia games and love the "You Don't Know Jack" series, so of course, I had
to invest $30.00 for Austin Powers Trivia. The first game was an absolute blast, I was rolling in the floor
laughing. The graphics and game show host interface about made me wet myself... Read full review »

"You don't know Jack" was good, this is boring

Pros May be fun if it's your first experience with the you don't know jack game style
Cons questions are easy, the clips of austin & Dr Evil get stale after 1 game
Recommended it? No

I bought this game because I love the "You don't know jack" series of games. (made by Jellyvision / Sierra). I love the austin powers movies.

This game blows.

It has roughly 5-10 clips (if it's even that many, I'm being generous) of Dr. Evil and Austin Powers and they are... Read full review »

Pros funny
Cons not challenging enough
Recommended it? Yes

If you've ever played You Don't Know Jack, then you'll know that Austin Powers Operation: Trivia is basically the same thing. The difference between the two are that Austin Powers is easier and of course, has all the Austin Powers lingo and other things you might expect from him. Unlike YDKJ, you... Read full review »

Pros unique design, good graphics and sound
Cons short games, only 2 players, EASY trivia
Recommended it? No

Being both an Austin Powers fan and a Jellyvision fan (makers of You Don't Know Jack), Austin Powers: Operation Trivia seemed like it would be a great game for me to play. Although the premise behind it is plausible, one big problem is that only two people can play. (one working with Austin and one... Read full review »

Pros funny, great trivia, graphics
Cons can only play a few times a week

Being a fan of the first Austin Powers movie and a lover of trivia games, I had to have this PC game. The format is very inventive and the graphics are reminiscent of a 60's A-Go-Go. Depending on which cheeky answer you give at the start, you are placed on Austin's team or with Dr. Evil. Each... Read full review »

Pros sound bytes, graphics neat
Cons not enough questions, rounds too quick
Recommended it? No

I purchased this game as a birthday gift for my girlfriends sister. We loaded it up on the computer rather quickly and positioned ourselves around the table for playing the trivia game. The graphics are similar to the old 70's game shows which was neat. But after 10 minutes everyone pretty much... Read full review »
