The Bottom Line: I do not feel that this guitar would encourage a child to develop their playing skills. The learning process needs a good sounding guitar that will not fall apart.

The Austin BAZAAR 38" Acoustic Guitar with Accessories, is a very cheaply made guitar. If I had to take lessons on this guitar I probably would have quit. My main complaint is the soft plastic saddle and the nut need to be made better,perhaps with a harder plastic.

I would hate to see anyone including my self throw away $30.00. I have repaired some of these guitars by changing the saddle on the bridge, the trouble is to change the saddle it is worth more than the guitars worth. I also have had much trouble with the first string. If I tune it up the E string will break and it like other cheap guitars will break the saddle. If the guitar is tuned down one octave it really does not sound right especially with other people playing who have their guitar tuned at the right octave.

The guitar is the right size for a child,it is 38 inches. The fretboard is painted on. This is a steel string acoustic guitar. The guitar comes in a natural color, and is nice looking.The guitar has a wood frame, but I am not sure what kind of wood. The head stock is slotted looks like a classical guitar, but it has steel strings.

The guitar comes with a pick, extra set of strings,guitar bag,and a carrying strap.

The guitar can be ordered on line from amazon, for about $30.00

Overall

The Austin Bazaar 38" Acoustic Guitar with Accessories is not worth buying. If you can fix the bridge and saddle and keep spare parts, you might want to buy this guitar. I would not recommend this guitar.
