Try Buying a Battery Pack
The battery pack has a short life and cost me $86.45 to replace. I think they make their money is selling batteries.

Good while it lasted
I originally purchased this portable DVD player for my daughter's birthday last October - purchased at a local warehouse (Sam's Club). GREAT!
I really liked this dvd player. I got it in December of 2004. It has worked great ever since then. One time the little button that pops up when you open the screen got caught down and i called customer service and they were very helpful with helping me fix it. Great way to occupy the kids!
The Audiovox DVD player is great for car rides. My friends with children can go on long trips because of this neat little device. Plays great and doesnt seem to skip with the movement of the car! Read full review »
Disappointing quality and function- cross this model off your list
I was delighted to receive this DVD player as a gift a year ago. It's trim style is great for travel and the remote allows you to operate the unit connected to a tv on the other side of the room without running back and forth.
Unfortunately, the model has intrinsic flaws from the get-go...
