These are the third type of GMRS radios I have tried, and I am very happy with them.
They come with a built in flashlight and NOAA weather radio, so they are ideal for campers.
Range and sound quality are as good as bubble pack GMRS radios ever get. I think 3 miles is the best I've gotten (I've owned them 3 mos.).
Different power settings are a MUST, and these have them.
