I had heard of Audiobahn through friends,reviews,etc and decided to buy some. Found them on Yahoo auctions for $77 a pair so I got them. Great Subs for the Price
I purchased these subs having used Audiobahn in the past (Alum 12 subs and amp) with great results. This time i was going for SPL at the lowest price, so chose the AW1200 series. The specs looked great for the price-- 700w rms, 2.5" voice coil, 4 ohm DVC.

Disapointed beyond all belief
This needs to be told. Yesterday I got my new 500/1 hooked up. Within 5 minutes it became scalding hot and went into thermal protection. This was with the gain set low and no bass boost on at all. Definitely worth every penny
About a year and a half ago I bought a pair of these subs and built a large ported box for them per Audiobahn specs on their website. I am extremely pleased with the results.
These subs play louder and lower than any single 15" or pair of 12" subs that I've ever heard. I run a 1200W RMS...

bought these off ebay. 78 shipping each. 700w rms. pretty chrome.
i had to build my own box for it(not a problem, i saved money and i gots the smarts) THESE SLAM!!! hooked each one up to a lanzar vhc2000 at 2ohm stereo, and they each have a little under 1.25ft3. real real loud.

Great Sub for the money
I have owned 2 AW1200 for almost 2 years now. I bought these because of their power handling, sensitivity, cool chrome looks, and price.
