1994 Audi 90

Audis first convertible, the stylish Cabriolet, arrived in 1994 on the 90s platform, but 2.2 inches shorter in wheelbase. Cabriolets came only with an automatic transmission and seated four. Only a single trim level was available, with a lined power top that stows beneath a hard cover behind the back seat. A passenger-side airbag was installed in all models for 1994, and the 90 S sedan could get optional leather upholstery and a power tilt/slide sunroof.

Holy expensive repairs Batman! - But decent car

Pros Nice curb appeal, great handling, comfortable drive, excellent sound system.
Cons Very expensive repairs and maintenance, slow acceleration off the line.
Recommended it? No

Pros nice ride, great traction, sporty feel

Fun to drive and easy to get around town in. Great on trips with plenty of passing power. One of the best cars I have driven in the snow. steering wheel off center(to the right)of seat feels strange when driving for more than 30 mins. Pros Handles and accelerates well. Great in the snow. Trunk roomy.
Cons Very unreliable and costly to maintain. On first name basis with my mechanic...

When running, very nice car. The 90CS Quattro sport (model I owned) handled extremely well, although the ride was too stiff for the backroads of New England. The all wheel drive is great in snow and even on ice.
