Athena AS-P400 Subwoofer Speaker

This subwoofer delivers tight, deep bass. It has the advantage of having the volume control and frequency response knobs on the front of the cabinet. It has a response of 40-120 Hz and is one of the best sounding subs in it's price range. In fact, after comparing it to various other models including JBL, Klipsch and Sony, which all cost more, it out performed all of them. The bass is deep and tight, and is not boomy or muddy sounding. I'm very picky about bass, and this sub is definitely what I've been looking for. The low pass filter (frequency response) allows you to adjust the speaker to match your systems sound. I change it according to the type of music I'm listening to, or if I'm watching a movie. If you want a sub that gives you rich, tight, deep accurate bass that's not boomy or boxy sounding, this is the one to buy. It's definitely worth the money.
