Don't buy if your life depending on it.

Cons
Horrific reliability.

No
The Bottom Line:
Better suited for an artificial reef. Do not buy ANY ASKO models.
These dryers are compact; fit well into a small space and can be stacked with the washer for excellent space savings.
Nice looking dryer, easy to use, the moisture sensor is pretty accurate. The LCD display is a bit cryptic, but makes enough sense after a few times to remember which buttons to push.
We bought these units to fit under a cabinet with a laundry handling area on top. The first hint of trouble was difficulty getting the exhaust hose to stay on the back with a hose clamp. Two, well placed clamps did the trick.
The units seem to work ok with half a dryer sheet, although we just preferred to use them twice. The dryer ran probably 6 months before the first problem showed up. It then broke down about every 4-6 months for every conceivable problem. The motor stopped working. The main controller board was broken, twice at least. The display unit fried out. The lint did not clear the machine well so the repairman finally showed us how to take the covers off to clean it. This required a special star-shaped wrench. After almost 6 years of this mess, we finally gave up after our repairman did. He had taken it to the shop to fix it. Got it working, came back and it ran three weeks. The repairman to his credit, finally said, I'm sorry, but I don't know how to fix this dryer at this point. (he did call asko tech support).
Getting the covers off to get the lint out requires special tools. You will need to do this as the lint doesn't vent well even when you keep the screen very clean.
The quality and reliability is truly atrocious. You'll pay a premium for this unit, then suffer paying for it again, plus aggravation and time wasted waiting on repairs. If you have enough money and time for this, buy two so one might be working when you need it.
The customer service people are friendly enough and generally responsive. However, their hands may be tied by HQ.
When we finally capitulated, I couldn't in good conscience resell this beast to anyone.
My new dryer set - name withheld - has now worked perfectly for quite sometime.
