I bought this dishwasher about 2 years ago - took me a long time to write this review. My husband was all over the energy efficiency of this dishwasher and failed to consider the practicality. It's a beautiful dishwasher and it is very quiet. It is energy efficient and has numerous water-saving features. However, the slots for the dishes are way too close together and frequently my dishes don't get clean if they are packed in - I have to leave a slot free between plates. For the money we spent I would have preferred a better organized dishwasher (energy star.) I may have sacrificed some energy efficiency but my dishes would be cleaner.
