The Bottom Line:
Don't buy - can't use it on the back of your neck. If you're buying it to try to help there, don't.
This thing blows. I just bought it, opened it up and tried it. I used it on the back of my neck, below my hairline where they do so on the commercials.
First of all the guy in the commercial clearly doesn't have it on - because the thing is loud as hell. It would have drowned out anything they're saying.
Second - pulling/uncomfortable ripping of hairs. It says to test it on an arm or leg hair, which I did, and that works fine. But on the thick hair that grows behind on my neck, it took tons of passes, all of them very uncomfortable, and most of the time it either wasn't cutting at all, or cutting randomly. My neck looked like crap afterwords. I could in no way reproduce the easy motion of the guy who uses it on the back of his neck in the commercial.
After this frustration, I decided to just pull out the electric hair clippers, put it on zero/iron guard (bare metal of the clippers) and trimmed the other side of my neck. It worked a thousand times easy, quicker, and more comfortably than this micro trimmer. I even just redid the first side, to fix up the crappy original job.
I tried it on my eyebrows, that seemed to work OK. The length adjusters didn't seem to work though - garbage again.
Lastly, the bag of goodies that it comes with, ie nail clippers, lint brush, tweezers are all grade E. The nail clippers cut your nails upward such that you have to file them down afterwards. That shouldn't happen, and make the nail clippers completely worthless.
I got this as a solution to the hair on my neck constantly growing. I was hoping that it could just whip this thing out and quickly keep my hair in line. That is clearly not the case.
