Micro Touch

I decided to order one of these often advertised trimmers since I travel a lot and thought it would be handy due to its small and lightweight size. While placing my order on the MicroTouch web site (www.microtouchtrimmer.com), I was given the opportunity to "upgrade" my order to the "Deluxe" version for an additional $10, which featured a "special lightweight ALUMINUM design". (Their exact wording) Since I travel extensively, I felt the aluminum design would be worth the extra expense for durability. When the trimmer arrived (after a month of waiting), I was very disappointed to see the entire unit was made out of plastic, rather than aluminum. After explaining my dissatisfaction to their customer service department, I was told I could return the trimmer for a refund. I returned the trimmer via two day Priority Mail at my own expense ($3.85). Unfortunately, they did not tell me I would not be given credit for their original shipping charges which amounted to $15.97 ($9.98 shipping PLUS an ADDITIONAL $5.99 shipping for the "Deluxe" version.) Consequently, this transaction cost me $19.82 (the original $15.97 shipping they would not refund, and my return shipping of $3.85) to return a plastic product that was misrepresented as "aluminum" in their advertising.
