I admit, I'm not a fancy cigar aficionado. I have smoked quite a few over the past few years, and I've learned what I like. The Arturo Fuente Double Chateau happens to be one of my favorites.
First of all, this is an excellent size cigar for a nice, leisurely smoke. Whether you enjoy sipping martinis or guzzling beers, this is a great cigar to have spend the evening with you. It won't leave you wanting more, but it also won't leave you feeling like you've been trapped in the incinerator room at the local waste disposal site inhaling the smoke from burning mattresses.
Additionally, the Double Chateau is smooth, with just enough flavor to satisfy the taste buds. I prefer either the Maduro wrapper, or even the Sun Dried (with the black band around the end of the cigar) for a bit more flavor. If you like a sweeter taste, try the Maduro version. No harsh taste here, and no need to shave your tongue the morning after. I personally love smoking one of these while drinking a Killian's Red. I have also found that none of my cigar-smoking friends will ever turn down an Arturo Fuente Double Chateau.
Last of all, you won't go broke smoking this cigar. It is a nice, mid-range cigar, depending on availability. I typically have paid between $5.50 and $7.00 per cigar (individually, in the Texas marketplace), but I recommend buying a full box if you can afford it or smoke cigars very often.
