The Bottom Line:
I recommend you buy one...you won't know ahead of time if your baby will try to rebel and as far as bassinets go this one is tops!
I bought the mini co-sleeper because we had co-slept with our first 3 children and I thought this would be a great way to sleep with our baby. I had trouble getting my other children to sleep in a bassinet...they screamed and fussed as soon as we laid them inside. Baby #4 was no exception. the first few weeks were not a problem and then suddenly she just wouldn't sleep in it. As soon as I put her in she was wide awake and screaming. It was kind of frustrating and in the end, in desperation to get some sleep she started sleeping with us. She is 3 months old and we all sleep well together, but unfortunately the co-sleeper is now packed up.
I loved the high quality of this bassinet. The attention to safety is on the highest level. The co-sleeper is very well made and I think anyone looking for a bassinet would be very pleased with this one. It has ample storage underneath (good for blankets and other baby linens), and ingeniously designed sheets incorporating velcro to ensure that baby will NEVER become tangled in them. The co-sleeper comes with a nice carrying case for travel (the zipper broke on ours when I first opened it, though). I bought our co-sleeper from Baby Bungalow and was very impressed with their prices and their service.
The only thing I didn't like about this product was the fact that my baby refused to use it. I think most babies would do wonderfully with it!
