Armada: Asteroids, The RPG
Armada was originally intended on being the one of the first multiplayer online games for the Dreamcast. Even more exciting was how it was also going to be a MMORPG or massively multiplayer online roleplaying game like Phantasy Star Online and World of Warcraft. Unfortunately, Sega had issues in... The Armada is Coming!!!
Story:
Although Armada tries a little too hard at trying to be a plot driven game, it ultimately lacks substance. It's your typical human and other types of beings saving civilization. Planets and the final frontier are being attacked by a biomechanical Armada (aliens), and it's up to...

Suprisingly Good
When I first saw screenshots of Armada I thought to myself..."what a load of crap." Cause to be honest thats what it looked like. But after a great review from ign.com and dreamcast-hq.net, I decided to give it a look.
Armada is in fact the first RPG for the Dreamcast. There is an entire...

Armada Is Best As Multiplayer
After buying Armada and playing it for a while, I couldn't see myself playing it very often. Frankly, I just didn't get it. The manual is horrible and I didn't really understand what I was supposed to be doing. I played it for about an hour or two and then kind of gave up... not really knowing what... Read full review »
3-d asteroids? nope, much more to it
Certainly most people consider this game the sleeper hit of the year for dreamcast, but I disagree, I personally don?t see where all the excitement comes from. I thought this game, while it looked ok, was utterly boring, sure I?ve heard that once you get into the game it gets better, but who wants... Read full review »
Well done shooter.
The main objective of this game is to follow the instructions of the people in your community. They direct you on what has to be done, and where you need to go to do it.
GRAPHICS: The graphics are quite well, not spectacular, but what do you expect to get out of an Asteroid type shooter...

Sleeper HIT!!!
The two words for this game tell it all, sleeper hit. This game was supposed to come out on september 9th, the launch of the dreamcast. Well we all know it didnt make that. So it got pushed back and everyone said "I that games gonna suck". But all those people were wrong, the game came out at a... Read full review »
Wait for Armada II
I bought this game the day it came out. Reading the back cover made it look fun and entertaining. I'm not disappointed with the game, but it certainly hasn't been played since the first week i bought it. This is one of those games you either hate it or love it. I personally look forward to Armada... Read full review »
Asteroids!? On my Dreamcast!?
I remember playing "Asteroids" with my brother on warm, sunny Saturday afternoons. There we were rotating a small triangle ship shooting at acid trip colored asteroids watching them quickly break up. The game was surprisingly addictive. "Armada" attempts to provide the same addictive gameplay and... Read full review »
Think of it as "Diablo in Space"
Can you imagine a game as deep as this one? I can't. First off, Armada is a game in which you can choose one of 6 races to fly around space killing baddies. At first glance it would seem as if it's some sort of "space invaders" prototype but oh no.. it's definately not. Think of it as "Diablo in... Read full review »
