The Bottom Line:
While the Arctic grill is an attractive design on the surface, the execution is flawed by poor workmanship and materials. Do yourself a favor and buy something else.
While the pictures look great, and the concept seems sound, all is not as it seems with the Arctic stainless steel grill.
First, let's talk assembly. My grill initially came with the wrong parts. I had ordered the unit with the side shelves, but the grill I received didn't have all the holes necessary to attach the sides. I called their customer service number, and received the correct parts about six weeks later.
As I tried to assemble the grill, many parts flat out didn't fit. I consulted the directions numerous times to make sure I didn't have something backwards or out of place, but the engineering is just plain shoddy. It took a lot of creative solutions to get this unit assembled, and even then I could not get the final shelf to fit without completely re-drilling the holes. In addition, some of the shelves already came with an extra set of holes - obviously a factory mistake that should have been scrapped.
Finally, let's talk materials. While the stainless steel concept sounds like a great idea, my grill is covered with pinpoint rust spots after only a month outdoors in - sunny Florida!
So save your money and buy something else. I deeply regret replacing my previous grill with the Arctic AKTS 2250 grill.
