The Arctic Glo white nectarine will be one piece of fruit worth waiting for. The nectarines are white fleshed and sprightly sweet with a nice balance of sugar and acid. The taste of the arctic glo is very appealing, and a nectarine variety highly recommended for home orchards. This nectarine is a high scoring variety in taste tests, so one you gotta try. Also enjoy the pretty pink blooms in the spring time that precede the fruit, which usually ripen late June to early July in Central California. The Arctic glo requires 400 to 500 hours of chilling, so a variety that could take a fair amount of cold as well. Self fertile.
