Archos has 6 gigabytes of recording space, which means that you can put about 150 cds of music in to the device.
Archos can also be used as an extra hard disc space thrue the USB interface.
Hooked up in Windows this machine is shown as an own drive, where you can move files and use as any another drive.
Archos Jukebox 6000 packet inclueds the headset, a small bag to carry it and MusicMatch software to handle the mp3s. And a network adapter.
Archos works with 4 normal reloadebul batteries which last approximately 8 hours. The player has stylish silver coloured outsides and protective plastic sheaths in the corners.
Theres suppoced to be an vibration absorber for the rough ride but it doesn't seem to work, the player looses the track like the old fashioned cd players do.
The menu is not logical to use and needs practice to get used to, because the device has 4 buttons to use and behind every 4 buttons there's least 2 functions more.
The size of Archos is just the right to fit it in your pocket ( 0,115 * 0,82 * 0,34 cm ) but the weight is just about the maxim of pocket players ( almost 300 g )
The haedphones are crummy, the dynamic is ghastly and when you turn up the volume, the voice turns high piched.
For normal use they are adequate.
