The Bottom Line:
Not a bad shot for a first try, but not anything special. I want to be blown away in sound quality, that's the idea.
Well folks the first generation of hard drive based mp3 players is almost over. This restriction-less portable was a Godsend to all those who wanted a simple feature like uploads and unobtrusive software.
When you think of both a jukebox and a hard drive you want both great sound quality, navigation and reliability. Now first the Jukebox 6000 lacked horribly in sound quality. Even with a pair of recommended headphones would turn out subpar sound on high bitrate files.
I also continually lost my files in a series of hard drive and partition errors. How could I save my files, gigabytes of them, if they continued to disappear?
What are the solutions to errors? More formatting and losing files and music. Not really fun I'll tell you.
Ok this wasn't from the devil it DID have some good qualities. First off it's rather compact and easy to carry around. The product has a nice weight to it, not actually heavy. With my SportaPro headphones the sound was alright, after tweaking and bringing the volume to the max. However on many songs it was not nearly loud enough.
