stress zyme is a good product but i want to state an epinion of stress coat by aquarium pharmaceuticals which someone at epinions.com forgot to list.
stress zyme is the second version of stress coat. stress coat is your run of the mill anti chlor etc. plus aloe vera. first of all aloe vera will do nothing to enhance your fishes slime coating as you would need a great deal of aloe vera juice in the water, second aloe vera plant is poisonous to most fish to eat. the aloe vera is a marketing gimmick and its concentration in your aquarium is the same as putting one drop of bleach in the atlantic ocean and calling it bleach water!
stress zyme came out after serious aquarists realized stress coat was a marketing gimmick with no additional value from aloel.
stress zyme again is a marketing gimmick to make a plain jane anti-chlor sell better. all anti chlors are the same it is their color or inactive ingredients that claim wonders that make them different but not any better than any other.
don't waste your money on high priced dressed up products, buy the least expensive anti chlor as the aloe and the enzymes do nothing.
