Aquamarine

My friends and i absolutely love this movie. I bought this movie because I realized that it is such a cute but also clean movie. Girls that are pre-teen and young teenagers will definitely love this movie! But I would not necessarily recommend it for boys, it is mostly a chick flick. What I've loved most about this product is that it is a good clean fun movie that you can get together with girls of all ages to watch it. I've had movie nights with siblings and cousins and friends of all ages where you have to have an age appropriate movie. This movie was perfect! And it kept us all laughing! Although this movie was cute and funny, the acting was kind of cheesy. The script was well written, but you can tell that it was written for pre-teens because the lines are a bit cheesy. But altogether, the actors did a great job in the movie.
Aquamarine stars Emma Roberts, JoJo and Sara Paxton. Claire and Hailey, two teenage girls who happen to be the best of friends, are about to be separated from each other because Hailey's mom got a job that requires them to move far away. The two girls follow their insticts and tips that they have read from all of their favorite women's magazines, to try to get the guy of every girl's dreams. As Claire and Hailey try to convince Hailey's mom to not make them move, they meet a beautiful teenage mermaid who helps them out. The mermaid, named Aquamarine, teaches them little life lessons along the way. In one of the scenes where they are on a little shopping trip, Aquamarine says to the girls, "Why go through life unnoticed?" This movie is full of surprises and cute teenage romances. It is full of good clean fun and will keep you smiling and laughing. It has many good little morals as well. I would definitely recommend a look at this movie.
