The 8 GB iPod touches are brilliant. They are a great mp3 player that has multiple devises built into the iPod. When I first got one from a birthday present from my parents, I was so amazed because it was touch screen, it was cool, it was new, everyone had it, and the accessories were awesome. All in all I thought the iPod was incredible. It was incredible because I could surf the web with the Wi-Fi, get on MySpace, talk to friends, and bring it to school in my pocket. It was like the coolest portable computer that was better than the 30 GB Zune, because it was broken, it didn’t have a touch screen, and it had no apps. The accessories that came with the iPod were a folder for your music, photos, and videos. It also came with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, earphones, loud speakers, USB cord so you can charge your iPod, apps like YouTube, weather channel, Nike iPod and amazing other things from the iTunes stores. The iPod has little buttons for volume control, menu button and a turn off button. It is made up of metal in some parts, it is 2.4 inches wide, 4.3 inches long and a 3.5 inch glass screen that you can touch to travel the internet or click the apps in which you have. Since this iPod was touch screen and I didn’t know how the touch screen worked, so I got onto the iTunes store and learned how it could just do what you want by a touch of a figure tip. The info I got is that they put a capacitive panel, an electrical devise where it stores an elcetric charge so when you touch the screen, the two outer layers of the capacitive touches each other and makes an electrical field making the iPod click on what you want. The thing about this capacitive panel is that it has to be a human’s electrical touch not a pen or some other round pointed object because humans have their own kind of electrostatic. The iPod is pretty thin and light weight so it is great to carry around in your pocket or bag. It’s very shiny and clear, which I really like. It can store thousands of songs and photos. The limit of the hours it can be used when fully charged is around 30 hours for just music, less than 10 hours for videos, and apps are like a couple of hours, but the thing about this is that it all depends on how many apps that are on your iPod or how many music, videos, and photos you put on there because the more stored the more energy it uses. When getting apps, make sure that they are free if you don’t want to pay. To get the free apps search free on the iTunes store and it will give you a whole bunch of free apps. Be careful because some of them may say free on the title but you have to look at the area in which you click to download the app. It tells you how much it cost before you download. These apps are the low class from the ones where you can buy. There either old or a sort of demo feel that doesn’t have all of which the paid ones has.
dislikes- The thing I dislike about the iPod is to main tain a clean and not destroyed iPod, it cost to buy protective gear so it doesn’t break or get fingure prints and scratches.it’s really easy to break because of the glass as the screen. Another reason I dislike about it is that it dies fast and you have to pay for good apps.
