The Shuffle is the best "no-frills" MP3 player out there. It easily interfaces with itunes on your laptop which makes loading songs onto it a breeze. You can't choose the song you want to listen to when you want to listen to it, but you can load close to 1000 songs onto this little contraption so your favorites will never be too far away. The compact design and easy controls of this Shuffle make it perfect for exercising, you don't have to fumble with a touchscreen as your running or jumping. The battery lasts a long time, I'm not sure how long exactly, but 8 hours would probably not be an overestimate.
