Cute as a Wall Flower
Pros
Easy to use and attractive. Great for working out! I purple heart Apple!
Cons
Unpredictably unreliable.
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
Just like a wallflower, pretty to look at and serves a function if only for a while when something better comes along.
Apple's products are all about the buzz. I love Apple. I have owned several iPods and of course being a designer, all of the computers I have ever worked on have been Apples and Macintoshes.
If you want something light weight, cute and cool, this is a perfect item. If you want something durable and reliable, better keep shopping! Perhaps you can find a big ghetto blaster!
I received my Apple iPod shuffle Second Gen. Purple (1 GB, MB233LL/A) MP3 Player for Mother's Day last year. It was cute but I have found that it doesn't work all the time. It seems like there are a lot of glitches and that it is kind of moody and unpredictable.
Compared to other MP3 players on the market however, it might be the best purchase as it is much better than using the regular sized iPod. The size alone of the original iPods make for an 'antiquated' MP3 product. And, to be honest, I have never used any other MP3 product other than Apple so that is all I have to compare my experience with.
The Apple makes for a perfect world to sync both via hardware and software. I really enjoy the simple cradle that both charges and uploads music.
