It froze once but used online manual to restore it easily.
Cons
Holds enough songs for pre-teen and it's a gift they don't lose interest in.

Bought one for preteen daughter birthday and she easily learned to use it and download music. We found it synced faster and easier with Mac rather than PC. we all love it!
