Go for the Apple iPod Nano Chromatic Blue 8GB if you are looking for a reasonably priced MP3 player with a ton of features. iTunes is really easy to work with and it makes it easy to load podcasts and songs onto the iPod. I use Napster and iTunes and they work really well together too. I like Napster because you can preview the songs and buy just the ones you really want.
If you are looking for more space it is not that expensive to jump up to the 16GB version.
