The Bottom Line:
Honestly, it's not a lot of money for what you get (I'm just cheap).
My husband mentioned last year he had wanted to get me an iPod for my birthday - but the one he was looking at was around $500. At the time, I was aghast that he would consider spending that much on my birthday present - also, an iPod was the absolute last thing I could have thought that I would want. As time passed, I thought more & more about it....and finally decided to buy the iPod Nano. Although I was reluctant to spend the $150 on myself, I'm glad I bit the bullet! After only a few hours, I decided I must take it back & upgrade to the 2GB. The Nano is slim, lightweight, and easy to use (mostly). I'm not sure how to remove songs I've decided I don't want on it though, and the click wheel can be overly sensitive. I don't like having to look the Apple website for any detailed instruction, though I know everyone is moving towards not including a lot of detailed material in the packaging. The sound this little thing puts out is AMAZING! My taste in music is quite broad and eclectic - I love that I can have those obscure songs as well as the two or three songs that I like off of each of my CDs. I'll definitely be getting rid of a lot of those now that I have my favorite tunes portable. The earbuds could be more comfortable, but they aren't the worst I've ever worn. I love that I can charge it through the USB port on my computer. And I like all the accessories that have become available; I'm sure I'll be looking into those pretty soon.
