Cons Does not have the extras of the Touch<br>More bulky for exercise than other Ipods
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Buy this Ipod for a very funtional player with a huge capacity.
The 6th generation of this ipod came out around the same time that the ipod touch was becoming popular with all of its applications and extras. I was looking for a bigger and better ipod at this time. I thought about getting the touch because it was the new big fad, however; what i really wanted out of an ipod was not to twitter and play mahjong but 120 GBs of pure music at my fingertips.

Music Capacity!
For the same size as you could get 80 GBs out of a few years ago, you can now get 120 GBs. I am continually amazed at the new technology that allows us to hold so much in so little space. Imagine 20 years ago carrying ten thousand CDs or more in your back pocket! This ipod classic is the equivalent of just that. In addition to music it also holds photos, podcasts, movies, music videos, audiobooks, and television shows.

Format
I love the user friendly formatting on all ipods and this one is no exception. Its easy to find exactly what you want to listen to through the cover flow, by artists, by song title, by genre, or through search. When I can't decide on what to listen to I love to put it on shuffle and get a good mix of all my favorite music. The genius application is a nice extra but I find that I like play lists that I make up myself better than anything this program can generate for me. However, I can see how it can be valuable for someone who is less picky about their music than I am.

Looks
The classic also comes in a cobalt color but i prefer the silver. Apple tends to make a lot of their products in light colors like silver and white. They do this because these colors make their products seem more user friendly where as black and darker colors are seem more technical and complicated. The light color and sleek design makes this ipod seem very user friendly and high quality at the same time.

Price
The Apple iPod 6th Generation runs at around $250 and it is worth every penny! This is cheaper than you would spend on an iPod touch and you get 88 more GBs than you would with the most expensive touch.

Long Life
This battery is advertised as being able to be in use for 30 hours. When the battery does get low it is easily recharged in about two hours by plugging it into your computer or a wall charger. The Ipod itself is durable and not easily damaged so you can feel comfortable taking it with you wherever you go.
