I Don't Leave Home Without It...
Pros
Compact, easy to use, great lighting and easy to read/see
Cons
No search function, easily scratched
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
I fully recommend the iPod. I can carry around my entire music collection in one device.
I have had my 60gb iPod Video for over two years now. It is worth every penny and I never leave home without it.
What I Like:
The iPod video is a good size to carry around in my purse at all times, I never find myself without a place to store it. The new, wider, color screen is much easier to see and ready in all lighting situations and the added addition of putting the album artwork in the device as well is very beneficial.
What I Don't Like:
I am not fond of how easily the device can scratch if it is not protected by a cover. Even with my cover on at all times I have gotten scratches on the device. Nothing major or damaging, but small eyesores. One thing that I think would be beneficial in future models of the iPod would be the ability to search for songs similar to the way you can search for them in iTunes, sometimes I am looking for a specific songs for upwards of 10 minutes because I cannot search.
I have yet to have a problem with this device and since receiving it in January of 2006, I have never reformatted or had to restore it. All of the songs that I added that day still remain and it works like a dream all the time.
I love it!
