Excellent Player, overall superior to others
I first purchased an iPod photo 20GB and used it for one week. It was very good and provided entertainment while I was out of country. When I got back I found the iPod Video 30GB for only $20 more so I returned the iPod Photo and purchased the iPod Video.

A step up from the previous gen in some respects... but not in others.
So my previous gen 20GB monochrome iPod gave up the ghost a few weeks ago, and went to that big iPod graveyard in the sky. Lucky for me, I had a service plan at the local big box electronics store, and my replacement was a brand spanking new 30GB iPod Video. In black.

Best Digital Media Player Available, without question!
I received this iPod this past Christmas. The capabilities and features of the latest generation of iPods are great and I use my black iPod almost daily.
Obviously a 60 gigabyte version is available, but for almost any user the 30 gig model (which I have) will provide more storage space...

Too Fragile
After less than a month, the screen on my iPod cracked. It wasn't dropped or damaged in any way.
