Yes
The Bottom Line:
Although its a bit pricey, the iPod has the best capacity and features available for portable media players on the market. Really top of the line product.
I received this iPod this past Christmas. The capabilities and features of the latest generation of iPods are great and I use my black iPod almost daily.
Obviously a 60 gigabyte version is available, but for almost any user the 30 gig model (which I have) will provide more storage space than you will ever need. I currently have over 700 songs and 50 videos, and 150 pictures on my iPod and I have still only used 8 of the 30 gigs available.
Asthetically, the new iPods are great. Both the black and white versions are very well shaped and attractive. The only downfall is iPods are prone to scratches, so I recommend buying a polishing product. (Many are available on eBay)
Almost everyone knows iPod is the leading portable music player on the market, but it also serves as a great data storage device, and with the latest generation, it now plays video on a very good looking color screen. Apple offers videos and TV shows for download off of iTunes, but I have found a great small program that will convert all of your video files on your computer to iTunes format.
"3GP Video Converter"
I use my iPod everywhere and almost everyday. I use it on my computer to store all of my music and videos, in my car where I have an FM adapter/charger to play through my car speakers, and I listen to it while walking to class and working out. It was the best gift I have ever received, and I am sure I will get countless hours of entertainment out of it in the coming years.
If you purchase an iPod, I would recommend also getting some sort of screen cover and carrying case for it as well.
