I bought my Ipod Touch about six months ago, and I've used it everyday since. The Ipod can do just as much as any computer; there are plenty of free apps that will keep you entertained for hours. Completely customizable, you can sync your Ipod up to your computer and put music, movies, pictures, podcasts and so much more to keep you entertained on those long car trips or whenever you're out of the house. There are literally millions of things you can do with it, it just doesn't make sense to not have one. I've used my Ipod Touch as my main Internet source before I could afford a pc, so you know that it's a quality product if you can easily check email, browse the internet, and watch Youtube videos seamlessly. The games you can download from the App Store are incredibly fun and are guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours. If your friend has an Ipod Touch or an Iphone then both of you can use this App called Facetime, which is built in right from the factory, that is a skype-like program that is dedicated to Apple products, like the Ipod, Iphone, and Ipad. The controls of the Ipod are a little tedious to figure out at first if you've never had a touch screen product before, but after a little while of playing with it, you start to get the hang of it. All in all, definetly consider investing in an Ipod Touch, they are very entertaining and have plenty of useful features that you can use in the real world.
