A great no frills mp3 player that is the epitome of portability
When I first saw the 1st gen shuffle, I thought to myself, "Why would anyone want such a basic MP3 player? It doesn't have a display, and play-wise all you can do it go forward or backwards through ALL the songs, you can't even group them into playlists!"

Didn't know it could be this good!
I decided to take the dive and buy one because I've had my other mp3 player for awhile, and if it failed I wanted a replacement. I sure am glad I did!

Great for the gym.
I love my ipod shuffle. I do have an ipod nano as well, but I find that i'm using the shuffle more and more over the nano. Nice music source
I've had mine for about 1-2 years, and it is starting to SKIP. Its an amazing mp3 if you don't need a screen, but if you need a screen, obviously don't get it! It can't hold many songs, so I'm not recommending it. (I am, but get a new one one it starts to skip.) Read full review »
