The Bottom Line:

I have many things to say about my Ipod Mini.
I've bought my mini about two months ago, i use it in my car, when working out, when studying, when i want to listen to music before sleep, etc.
I find battery durability very acceptable, i can listen all the music i want to in one day and sometimes i even use it for two days, ok that's 48 hours, but i'm not listening to music 24 hours a day, i use it driving to my work, then to university and then when back to my house, even when working sometimes, thats why 7 hours works good for me.
Ipod Mini is far more scratch proof than any other mp3 player in the world!!!! i always use my ipod in my pocket as good as my cell phone and without any case, and believe me... there's not a single scratch on it...
Screen legibility is nothing less than excelent, it looks right no matter when and where.
Functions? fm players the size of a credit card are very cheap, a can't see a single reason to buy a player to listen to radio, i hate radio commercials, not to mention opinions radio programs, if what i want is music, i download all the music i want to listen to and then shuffle it up if i want radio style music.
I've reviewed some other mp3 players, even the dell DJ, and let me tell you, they are cheaper, no doubt!!! they look cheaper, they feel cheaper, they are packaged cheaper, etc. i hope someday the best of the best should be just 50 bucks away from crap, i'm a pc user, i think dell computers rocks but about the DJ for instance... it looks so creative labs out of the toilet piece of cheap plastic crap, i can't believe dell could create something like that, it really looks like a chinesse bazaar third world toy, and i live in Venezuela, unfortunatelly, part of the third world so i really knows what it means!.
Quality and finesse has not to be divorced in anyway, ipod has the two of them, thats why i'll keep mine and if i need anything more, there's a lot of fine crafted accessories for the mini on the market... i'll buy them without a doubt!
