HiFi without wires!
Pros
Compact, sounds as good as most "mini" systems with unwieldy standalone speakers

My partner is a bit of a gadget fanatic and got this kit today for her 60gb ipod video. She has 1000's of tracks from itunes & from her CD's, and I have the older 60gb "photo" ipod with about 100 of my favourite albums in "wav" format.
All I can say is that this product shows up the difference between mp3 and WAV, but most ipod owners will only use mp3 as each track only uses 5mb rather than 50mb with wav!
In the past I have owned a "high end" system (rega, naim etc) so I know a bit about what sounds good, and while this is not quite a match, it's amazing for the size of the box, and living in a small apartment with little space for separates this is ideal.
