Apple or Bose? It depends

I recently was looking for good quality iPod speakers for my office, and narrowed the choices down to the iPod Hi-Fi or the Bose. While they're both expensive, you can easily hear the difference between them and the smaller, cheaper systems. These two produce real bass!
So which is better? I listened to both, and here's the deal: if you want one that's really LOUD and might take it outdoors, such as the beach, go for the iPod Hi-Fi. It's the loudest, and the built-in handles make it easier to carry around even though it's bigger and heavier. However, if you just want some nice sound in your home or office, the Bose system is not quite as loud but is clearer, and about $50 less.
