Simple, elegant, and it brings back memories of bygone days.
I don't want to repeat what other people have raved about the iPod's interface..etc but I just wanted to add that as a 30 pushing on 40 the iPod reminded me of the sensation and joy when I received my first Walkman as a teenager. Flexible Functionality
Though the 30GB version of the iPod is no longer in production by Apple, replaced by 40GB, it can be picked up used from a variety of sources. I got mine refurbished from the apple store www.apple.com for roughly $300. When brand new that cost well over $400, that is a steal.

Absolutely the standard for portable music
I am the proud owner of the iPod 30 GB, which I have had for the last 7 months. I got it personalized (laser engraving on the back available from Apple Store online) and it arrived much sooner than I expected, and proved to be even better designed and functional a product than I had hoped.

iPod 30G my life is now complete
I love this thing! I didn't ever consider myself a music buff, but now that I have every song I own at my fingertips, I can't imagine living without it. Apple 30 GB iPod
it comes with earbud headphones and USB cable….also has a 2.5-inch (diagonal) color LCD with LED backlight and up to 2 hrs of video playback, 14 hrs of music playback and 3 hrs of slideshows…excellent!!! Product got some reviews at http://www.inods.com may be u'll like to read

A very solid product by Apple: I wouldnt have any other mp3 player.
Ive had many a mp3 player, and they always let me down as far as battery power or storage capacity goes. But my 30-gig ipod has never let me down.
My 30-gig ipod is amazing. It has the circular turnstile pad that comes with every ipod, and it makes maneuvering and utilizing the ipod very easy...

No Complaints Whatsoever
Apple REALLY got the details on this thing right, and the software is simplicity itself (I have tried Music Match and other MP3 players and they all pale -- very badly).
