Apple iPod classic (30 GB) MP3 Player

Apple REALLY got the details on this thing right, and the software is simplicity itself (I have tried Music Match and other MP3 players and they all pale -- very badly). The belt clip is WONDERFULLY tight so it's secure. If I could fix just one thing it would be the ear buds -- they take some getting used to at first, and are not the best for the gym, but fortunately they can easily be swapped for some cheap headphones from Sony or even Radio Shack. No other complaints whatsoever. It's a stunner, and wonderful on the treadmill, tooling around town, and also plugged into my car stereo for long trips -- no more out in the middle of nowhere with nothing to listen to. This is a great ambassador product to show Windows users what Apple's all about and how much nicer the whole Apple experience is. (I was a Windows user since before Word version 1 -- 12 years of headaches, but since moving to the Mac with a Cube and OS X my computing life has been a no hassle joy -- love it.) Yes, it's pricey, but considering its value at home, in the car, at the gym, it's a wonder, and especially nice for tuning out other commuters and cell phone users. The ONLY way I can see of improving the iPod is to come up with a version that wirelessly sends signal to headphones (no wires to get tangled on, though the shirt-clip on the wire is ingenious and comes in very handy -- Apple REALLY thought about the details on this).
