Once you have the ipod you're set, you need nothing else for music
Pros
Sleek, memory, sound quality, rechargable battery, its got everything, need i say more?
Cons
battery life, easy to scratch and get dirty, too expensive, otherwise it is perfect
Recommended it?
Yes
The Bottom Line:
this rates as a must have if you have the money
I got my ipod for Christmas and i am just blown away. ive wanted an ipod for 3 years, ever since the 1st generation came out i wanted a 20GB, perfect size for me. 15GB is too little, and 40GB is too much memory space that most people will never use up, its size is bigger, its heavier, and its more expensive.
When i first got my ipod i was just soo impressed by the size. it was soo sleek and thin. then i turn it on and added all the songs i had, 1027 songs from all my CDs. the transfering speed of the songs was blazing fast. 1 hour for 1000 songs. then i began to navigate through the ipod and adjusted the settings to my liking and everything. it is so easy to find songs. the categorizing makes it simple. but i need to make playlists for continuous music, which is kind of a hassle to be choosing every song. the overall ease of use is soo convenient. the display i very well layed out and i like the resolution, its quite sharp. this is definitely going to rate as a MUST HAVE on my rating system.
I would sell the earbuds that come with the ipod, i did, cuz they are just soo uncomfortable. the battery lasts only about 5-8 hours, the ipod dirties and gets scratched easily and recieves greasy fingerprints that show up like a green rash on someone's face. and then theres the price, 400 dollars, i'll have to admit that is quite A LOT of money, but then again 400 doallrs will last u almost a decade of music, if not a lifetime for most people. but then these cons are soo subtle that they are absolutely overwhelmed with the amout of pros the ipod has. an ipod is just below perfect
