The iPod is a must have for any music lover, young or old. Once you have one, you will know why critics and owners alike, call it the best.
The iPod by Apple, is simply amazing.. It is head and shoulders above the competition. It looks amazing, it attraction while it performs flawlessly. Basically performance was not sacrificed for looks. Apple has delivered again with its 3rd generation Ipod, and this time it improves upon an already extremely great product. First off, Apple took an amazing design, which was the original Ipod, and made it look even better. The iPod is a gorgeous combination of whites and chrome, and it just flows together. I can't even say how many people have stopped me and told me how nice the iPod looks.
While the price of the iPod may turn several people away, there are always places like ebay, where you can find the iPod for a cheaper price. The 10gb iPod starts at the high price of $299.99. At first I believed that it was a lot to pay for a hard drive based MP3 player. But after I got my iPod my mind was changed.
The iPod offers a huge hard drive, for you to save your music to. I love the fact that I can carry over 2,000 songs in my pocket. I have had my iPod for nearly 6 months now, and I have not yet filled up the memory. Simply put, there is nearly no way to fill this babys hard drive up, it just keeps takin on more songs.
The iPod is not only a music player. It does much more. The iPod gives you sort of a mini organizer, with a calender, a notepad, and several other options. To some these may be useless, but they are still valueable to those that would use them. The great thing is, although these extra features are just "extra" they work flawlessly. There is also a games section found on the iPod. While it comes with a minimum amout of games. These games are fun. There is Solitare and Parachute among others. The great thing about the games feature, is that you can play the music that you have loaded on to your iPod as the background music of your game!!
The iPod offers excellent sound, through the provided headphones. I tested the iPods provided headphones against a similar pair of Sony headphones. And the iPod head phones are miles ahead of them. The sound from the iPod's headphones are far crisper than most headphones, even very expensive ones. You hear every beat of the drums, every chord played on the guitar. I was very impressed by the provided headphones.
The iPod that i have shipped with Music Match.. This made it slightly difficult for me to synch with my Windows computer. If you have a Mac, it is easy to Synch with your computer. NOW, all iPods, ship with iTunes. This will make it as easy for a Windows user to Synch thier iPod to their computer, as it is for a Mac user. iTunes is an amazing piece of software in itself. There is no way to get into enough detail to describe how good it really is. But, in relation to the iPod, iTunes works very flawlessly. When you create a playlist on iTunes, and then synch your iPod with your computer, iTunes automatically adds to your iPod the songs that you added to your playlist. THAT IS AMAZING!!

Now everything is not perfect, and the iPod has its flaws. The great thing is, none of them are major. First off, the iPod itself scratches easily. The chrome back as well as the screen get marked, no matter how hard you try to keep it looking new. Next, is the battery life of the iPod. IT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH! The battery in the iPod will at best last you 9 hours.
Another advantage I found with my iPod, is that it is small. For the large amount of songs it holds, it is surprisingly smaller than a similar product on the market. Other hard drive based MP3 players dont fit in your pocket very well, but iPod slips right in, and barely weighs anything.
iPod is definately the best Hard Drive based MP3 player on the market, it has more features, better looks, better sound quality, and is smaller than comparative models. The iPod is simply amazing. There are no words to express how happy I have been with mine.
