Pros Great idea well executed. Qualtity, feature rich, performs better than expected.
Cons Controls are a little stiff. No included remote.
Recommended it? Yes

Let's face it – buying an alarm clock is usually not a fun endeavor. By nature, alarm clocks are a necessary evil. Pros Light, good sound, great value, looks nice, docking port, line-out
Cons Volume and setting controls clumsy; LCD illumination is a little too much

I bought this product about 3 days ago so I've had some time to use it. I've used it to play music via the radio and IPod (I own the 30G IPod photo which works just fine). I've used the sleep timer function and the alarm function. I'm pretty familiar with what it does and some of its quirks.

As MP3s overtake CDs as the preferred way to transport music it was inevitable that an iPod clock radio would come to market. CD clock radios have been around for years. Now is the time for an iPod update. But as appealing as the concept of an iPod clock radio is, I am disappointed in the iH5.

Pros Small, great sound, charges ipod, radio stations are easy to program.
Cons LCD is much too bright.

This radio is great for the kitchen or desk at work. It has great sound for the price and charges my ipod too. It comes with adapters for different ipods. I have a nano and it works fine. The main reason I bought this dock was to charge and listen to my iPod when I go to sleep. All the other units on the market are designed as boom boxes which are a little bulky or lack good alarm features for bedside use.
