First some background on me. But first, I will not go into a long winded emotional explanation as to why I love this machine as much of that is subjective, I will give my reasons for why this machine better than other high end laptops in the $2000 price segment.
I started with Apple back...

Just buy one already
Let's go over something. If you own a laptop, you should own a Mac. A lot of people say, "Everyone where I work uses a PC and I need to be compatible." Newsflash...it is. Office for OSX is completey PC compatible and Mac can even network now with Windows XP without any software add ons. The 17" is... Read full review »
how much better does it get?
slim, lightweight design that isn't bogged down by all those ridiculous media card reader slots and other miscellaneous garbage that PC manufacturers think is necessary. also, the Airport card is controlled via SOFTWARE, not those pointless hardware switches. the PCMCIA slot is hardly noticeable... I've never loved a computer before...
I am a techie. I carry a IPAQ AND a Blackberry (which I have purchased two in the last three months, because I had to have color) so when I say I love a computer, you'd better believe I love it.
When I first purchased my Powerbook, I was concerned with compatibility with my PC files. Was...

High Priced, Sleek Design, Mac with Envy
I purchased my 15" powerbook for school/work use. I chose this over the other models because of its performance, decent size screen, and its sleek Titanium design finish.
I'm not a mac head or anything but I enjoy using both pc and mac. This notebook though, produces a lot of heat and I...

A Pretty Good Machine
This is my first Apple and I like most everything about it. I did have white spots on the screen and a week back at the factory apparently took care of it.(Being a Windows guy all these years I'm not used to a voice mail from tech support that says,"Mr. Harris. We have your G4 back and the screen... Read full review »
'Aluminum' Powerbook 15" G4 - Object of Envy
I bought this computer in the summer of 2003 to support my marketing consulting business. Since I was primarily working on my own - writing, doing marketing strategy, etc., I was free to use pretty much whichever computer I wanted to. Now, I've moved back into a corporate environment and I'm still... Read full review »
Most capable laptop anywhere
Absolutely one of the best machines I have ever bought. Incredibly sleek, sexy, stylish. Perfect replacement for my PowerBook G3 500 FireWire which I also loved. Just when manufacturers like Toshiba designed machines to copy that PowerBooks' curvy sexy feel, Apple switched design styles again with... Read full review »
