I've never loved a computer before...
Pros
Lightweight, easy to use, cool looking, ability to read PC files on the fly.
Cons
Oil and dirt on hands transfer to screen when closed AND effect paint on case.
Recommended it?
Yes
I am a techie. I carry a IPAQ AND a Blackberry (which I have purchased two in the last three months, because I had to have color) so when I say I love a computer, you'd better believe I love it.
When I first purchased my Powerbook, I was concerned with compatibility with my PC files. Was I stupid. The Mac reads both type of files and since I installed Virtual PC, it has been amazing. I was especially pleased with MS Office for the Mac (except I hate Entourage). The Mac toolbar is great and easy to use. I initially had a problem with the lack of two buttons on the mouse, but soon overcame that "issue". Macs also have a much better "plug & play" capabilities, recognizing almost everything without complicated configuring. Overall, a great buy (but I still have a Sony Vaio laptop sitting next to my Mac, just in case.
